Problem
The Fabric Box has built its reputation as a go-to brand for high-quality, sustainable fabrics across New Zealand and beyond. They’ve got a loyal community of home sewers, fashion students, and creative makers who value craft over hype. But when it came to digital advertising, there was hesitation. Their team weren’t sure if paid ads would work for them. The concern wasn’t just about budget; it was about alignment. Would digital marketing feel too salesy? Would it fit their brand’s calm, curated tone? More importantly, could it actually deliver real results without diluting what made the brand special? They had dabbled in it before, but nothing had stuck. The campaigns felt disconnected, performance plateaued quickly, and the cost per conversion didn’t inspire much confidence. We rewrote ad copy to match the searcher's mindset, not just product details, but the feeling of working with quality materials. We cleaned up keyword match types and limited the budget. wastage on generic terms, and optimised the product feed to highlight the most in-demand and high-margin SKUs.
We also tightened up the landing page experience, ensuring users were sent to relevant pages that reflected the ad promise and made browsing easier. Within weeks, performance took a major step forward.
